Morinville Chamber wants to Adopt Your Business
From Jaye the Chamber Manager with the Morinville and District Chamber of Commerce: We are currently working in setting up and developing an Adopt-A-Business program for the Slave Lake Wildfire Victims.
Our thoughts at the here at the Chamber, were for our members/local business community to assist Slave Lake businesses to continue with their operations by way of providing space, equipment or tools as needed. (ie. Infinite Event Services a local event rental company would assist a Slave Lake rental company to still provide services for events, or The Flower Stop would offer space and tools for the Slave Lake flower shop to complete any wedding work they had pre-booked.)
Any business owners needing to be adopted and access this service can please contact me and I will partner you with a business here.
I should also let you know that the Edmonton Chamber of Commerce has offered up resources for businesses displaced by fires at the World Trade Center in Edmonton. This stuff would include, fax, phone, copying and computer use.

Lee is Looking to help Non-Profit Organizations
I see there has been an overwhelming response to the emergency and short term need of residences. I want to help out and have done so in various small ways last week.  I sense there is going to be a continuing need to help out in the medium to long term until the community is full rebuilt.  You can contact me at either my work email above or my home email at lnordbye@shaw.ca

IT Help
I would like to share some news from Darren Boyer, owner of pcit.com in Grande Prairie.  Darren and members of his team will be coming to Slave Lake to volunteer their time to help with businesses hit by the fires over the past week.  The pcit team are providing IT services at no cost to help those in need.
If you can help share this amongst the community, that would be wonderful.  Darren can be reached at 866.933.PCIT.
