So I totally had a wrong post on here from a trusted news agency about how many bears were captured in Slave Lake - will just go on the info from the government from now on...
There have been sightings and only one bear has been caught near the town and relocated, but due to the smell residents are asked to practice bear smarts, not leave any garbage that is rotting outside, and keep an eye on your kids when they are out and about.
